Learning styles

We know only seven learning styles :
  1. Aural - People prefer using sound and music.
  2. Logical - People prefer using logic, reasoning and systems.
  3. Physical - People prefer using your body, hands and sense of touch.
  4. Social - People prefer to learn in groups or with other people.
  5. Solitary - People prefer to work alone and use self-study.
  6. Verbal - People prefer using words, both in speech and writing.
  7. Visual -  People prefer using pictures and images.

Many people prefer different learning styles and techniques. Every single person has a mix of learning styles. Some people may find that they have a dominant style of learning. Others may find that they use different styles in different circumstances.
Research shows us that each learning style uses different parts of the brain. By involving more of the brain during learning, we remember more of what we learn.Researchers using brain-imaging technologies have been able to find out the key areas of the brain responsible for each learning style.
